Ciara is top A Level student in NI Art and Design

Art teacher Mr John Mulvenna, Ciara and Mr J BradySt Killian’s student Ciara McLaughlin achieved full marks in her A level Art and Design examination in June 2013.


She has been awarded Top Achiever in Northern Ireland by the examination board CCEA.
Principal Mr Brady warmly congratulated Ciara when she visited the school this week.
“We are all very proud of Ciara’s achievement – a fitting reward for her talent and determined work over many years. This also recognises the excellent work of the Art Department in the school and how they nurture and encourage our students to achieve such high standards.”
Ciara also picked up A* grades in her other 2 subjects, Maths and PE, and has just begun a degree course in Art and Design at the NW Regional College in Derry.
Ciara’s artwork will be displayed as part of the CCEA True Colours exhibitions in Belfast and Derry during 2013-2014.
