Songs Of Praise

On Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th April St Killian’s College had the pleasure of hosting two evenings of recording for the BBC programme Songs of Praise from the college chapel. The programme was led in prayers by Canon Alec McMullan, a previous President of the college. The college choir was joined by members of Larne High School choir, as well as choral groups from throughout the Glens of Antrim and further afield. Continue reading

Euroscola Event in Strasbourg

[singlepic id=27 w=320 h=240 float=left]The students worked with other young people from 14 different European countries which included: Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Romania. They had the opportunity to discuss important issues such as “The Place of European Values in the World”, “Migration and Integration”, “Environment and renewable energies” and “Democracy and Citizenship” and other issues that are affecting all members of the EU today. Students also had a question and answer session in various official EU languages.
