Over 1,000 pupils took part in the two-day event where entrepreneurs of the future explored the potential of business ideas and worked through them during a series of creative workshops. W5 hosted the “Finance Zone” where pupils worked with STEM ambassadors on a fun but messy Cupcake Challenge!
St Killian’s GCSE student Róisín O’Kane picked up a Bronze medal at the European Under 20s Track and Field Athletics finals in Leiria in Portugal at the weekend. Róisín’s throw of 29.81 was a PB and good enough to collect 3rd place, despite the 15 year-old being in a competition that featured athletes up to 5 years older than the Glenravel girl. The bronze medal also helped her club team Antrim and Ballymena AC gain second place overall in the competition. Continue reading
