There has been a terrific response to this appeal in the Ballycastle area and the centre has now reached capacity. Unfortunately this means that St Killian’s can no longer take any donations of clothing, supplies etc. Money can still be collected. The school raised £221 last week which was handed over on Sunday.

If you have gathered any clothing you can leave it into the ‘cash for clothes’ collection points and if you wish you can donate the funds from that to the appeal.

The Ballycastle centre is sending its clothing etc. via a group in Newry to Calais and also to the Greek island of Kos.

Thank you all for your donations to date and we would like to pass on any more financial donations by this weekend at the latest i.e. a big effort please to get those donations to us by Friday.

Thanks again
Mrs Kinney, Mrs Berry & Mr Downey

We at St Killian’s College have been deeply moved by the humanitarian crisis unfolding before our eyes. As a school community we have always placed great importance on helping those in need and we want to play our part in organising aid for refugees.

We are working alongside Calais Refugee Solidarity and also other groups based in Kos, in Greece. We are collecting essential items needed by refugees at this time. If you can help, please send items from this list below into school, to Mrs S Kinney’s room. If you have other necessary equipment, please send. The list is not exhaustive.
Remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Please remember our school motto : CARITAS ET VERITAS
