Cupcake Challenge

Over 1,000 pupils took part in the two-day event where entrepreneurs of the future explored the potential of business ideas and worked through them during a series of creative workshops. W5 hosted the “Finance Zone” where pupils worked with STEM ambassadors on a fun but messy Cupcake Challenge!

Principal’s Prize Night Speech

“Reverend Fathers, Board of Governors, our distinguished guest, Mr. Ben Glover, parents, pupils past and present and colleagues. It is fantastic to see you all here tonight in order to celebrate all the achievements that the pupils of St Killian’s College have attained in the last year. May I begin, by congratulating each and every prize winner present here this evening and can I assure you that you are a representative body for many others in our school community who also deserve recognition for their admirable achievements throughout the last year.  Continue reading

Head Boy and Girl appointed

St Killian’s College has announced their Head Boy, Head Girl and their deputies for the year ahead. Head Boy is Michael McCann from Larne, with Anna Callan, Carnagear, Glenarm filling the role of Head Girl. The deputies appointed are Paul McCorry from Larne and Fiona Rodgers from Carnlough. While the quartet have already taken up their duties in the school, their first formal engagement will be Prize Evening next Thursday (15th).
